A set of cream colored Dacron sails for a 39' Roger Long Schooner Yacht.
We always seem to have a schooner project on the to-do list each winter. More often it's a heavy canvas or Oceanus project sometimes requiring a first layout in a gymnasium. Sometimes it's a more managable Schooner Yacht, as is the case with this Maryland boat. Because of our reputation with schooners, we get calls from across the country for quote requests. One customer in Vermont had a
schooner that was just 25 feet long.

A set of cream colored Dacron sails for the 25' Friendship Sloop "HEGIRA"
Over the years we've made sails for Friendship Sloops. Some owners request very traditional, hand finished sails in cotton or Oceanus. Others are interested in performance, and request cross-cut sails, battens and a conventional finish. The traditional options like hand sewn corner rings or narrow panels add to the price of a sail, so we make an effort to find a balance between asthetics and budget with our customers.

Three sets of cream colored Haven Class sails for the Landing Boat School in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Among other projects, the Landing Boat School students build several Haven Class sloops, and several Doug Hylan "Beach Peas" for rowing and sailing. The School has a reputation for not only the high quality boats they build, but for the quality of the students that graduate from the boatbuilding, composite, design and systems programs.
