Maine Classics Tote (North Haven)
The Maine Coast stands out for its plenitude of picturesque islands with over 4,000 dappling the coast. Of those, 15 sustain year round communities and are home to some of Maine's most vibrant residents. The island of North Haven sits just an hour's ferry boat ride off the coast, and stands out for its lush farm land and some of the best road biking around. This print pays homage to the unmistakable Fox Island Thoroughfare that cuts between North Haven's shore and Vinalhaven's.
Our “Midcoast Classics” bag collection features custom designs inspired by the people, places, and history that make the region remarkable. Each design is hand carved and applied by hand using premium oil based inks. They are made of rugged duck cotton and feature a versatile set of interior pockets made from recycled marine cloth, and are assembled using our 100+ year old industrial Singer sewing machine. The handles are from a comfortable three strand line that are finished with Matthew Walker knots and hand whippings. The hand stamped leather labels give a clean classic finish. Bags are 12" tall with a 7" by 9" base.
